1.Can you think of any examples in your preceptorship of a time a nurse manager was able to keep employees on the unit engaged and motivated? Or any examples where a management style led to decreased motivation and morale?
2. Do you know the mission statement of your clinical organization? If so, do you feel that the day-to-day activities you witness are in line with this statement? What is the importance of having a mission statement?
