There are many ways to make sure that you are putting out a quality project while also meeting the key stakeholder’s timelines. First, you have to set correct expectations with your client this is going to be done at the beginning of the project or right after the contract has been signed. Hopefully, sales have done their job but you as the PM must set those timelines for the project deliverables and also ask the stakeholders if this meets their timelines.
As a project manager, you are a jack of all trades essentially you have your hand in the pot with all of the teams that are on the project. This requires balancing in its own right but managing these relationships in an empathetic and professional way is key to lowering your stress levels and also keeping everyone in the loop as well. This means answering emails in a timely matter, and doing your rounds in whatever PM software that you use, I personally use Asana at work and I am able to make sure that I am organized with my team.

According to my research, Quality Planning and its sub categories – Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control – are a great way to bring quality and timeliness to a project. Project Control pertains to the monitoring of project metrics, as identified during the Quality Planning phase to ensure those metrics are performing as expected or at satisfactory levels. It also includes the understanding the concept of variation and effective communication with data – indicating that data gathered during the planning phase must be accurate. During this process, graphical analysis tools assist to display the data visually so decisions can be made easily and quickly concerning the quality of the output of the process. In hand with Quality Control is Quality Assurance which ensures that there is continuous improvement and process analysis. At this point, it is up to the project manager to make sure time and effort is made to ensure accuracy and credibility of the measurement system. This can look like estimating processing time, elapsed time, and valued added time. I will attach a good graph from pmi.org to exemplify quality planning and time estimation.
