Midterm Assignment
Midterm Annotated Bibliography Guidelines
I want two books and four encyclopedia articles that pertain to your topic.
Start with a citation of the source in MLA format. (1 point)
Follow the citation with a descriptive and evaluative summary of the source. You must mention the author’s argument or thesis in a way that makes it clear to me as the reader. You need to show me that you have read the source carefully, that you have thought about it, and that there is a reason why you are including it. Do not use direct quotations from the source: paraphrase what you read. (2 points) ***See below for an example of how to get two points.
Pull out the name of one individual mentioned in each of your four reference sources and explain why that person is significant to the topic you are focusing on. For the two books, you must list all of the Library of Congress Subject Headings for each book and one of the subject headings must be shared by both books. (1 point)
Each entry should be free of spelling errors and must be a minimum of 150 words. (1 point)
FOR ALL SOURCES ( 2 books and 4 encyclopedia articles) please
First cite the source (citations included) and then type a 150 word paragraph description of the summary of the source. FOR EACH
