The table below presents the study’s results. From a sample of 50 participants, the results revealed that gender, age, direct supervisor’s relation, telecommute scheduling, co-worker’s relation, rating of the happiness in the workplace, and the engagement’s rating had mean averages 1.52,32.02,2.5,1.18,1.92,7.4,7.64, and 15.02, respectively. The findings revealed that age had a higher average as compared to other variables. Their standard deviations were 0.505,4.34,1.015,0.388,0.665,1.414,1.241, and 2.428, respectively, which are used in measuring the variations from their averages, also it depicted a high maximum observation of 40 years. Age showed a high variation from its mean. Females were the most frequent persons as compared to males.
From the results in the table, all the variables under study followed a normal distribution. In assessing for the normality test, skewness statistics is used. The findings revealed that the skewness values of the studies variables (gender, age, direct supervisor’s relation, telecommute scheduling, co-worker’s relation, happiness ratings, and the engagement’s ratings) were -0.083,0.189, -0.061,1.718,0.089, -0.713,-0.934, and -0.959, respectively. The results pointed out that all variables were normal. Pandian (2006) stated normal data has skewness values falling between ±3.
