As such, the relationship one has with coworkers is not related to how happy a person is at the workplace. The correlation coefficient between an employee’s relationship with their direct supervisor and their workplace happiness rating is 0.6112. The coefficient indicate the presence of a moderately positive relationship between the two variables. As such, the stronger the relationship an employee has with their direct supervisor, the happier they are at the workplace. The Pearson product-moment correlation between engagement in the workplace and an employee’s workplace happiness rating is 0.5951 which suggests the existence of a moderately strong relationship between the two variables. The higher the level of employee engagement, the happier they are at the workplace.
